It’s a great site, thanks for sharing it. I’m just considering the uses of the tool beyond a personal user name….How about other people’s user name?
Sure, for competitive monitoring, staying up to date with what competitors are saying and which networks they are on…it’s a great time saver. And since everyone is claiming their user names it just makes competitive monitoring that much easier right? It’s a great addition to a very large tool box.
James, that’s a good point. For another use: I am actually looking into various names for my new PR company (beyond SocialMediaPR, which admittedly is pretty generic). Today I used usernamecheck.com to weed out about 3 different viable names that had passed the “domain name is available” test. If a name is being used on a social network – or 5- currently, I don’t want it.
